A new brick in the D-series: D201

Petersen Tegl presents D201, a new addition to the classic D-series.

D201 is a waterstruck brick with a rough, varied surface. Made from red clay, it displays a varied interplay of red, orange and brownish tones. The brick’s subtle white veil is created by a light clay slurry added to the wet lump of clay in the mould.

After firing in the tunnel kiln, all four sides of Petersen bricks can be used in façade brickwork, as the waterstriking process makes them equivalent in surface texture and colour variation. This offers practical and economic advantages when laying the bricks.

D201 is available in Danish normal format (DNF), Flensburg format (FF), Hamburg format (HF) and UK format.
